so today marks the beginning of the new year.  last night was such a blast, literally. 2009 was definitely a year to remember.  although 2009 had its ups and downs, i think it has been one of the best years i ever had.

2010 will be an even more remarkable year, and I foresee many great things happening.  everything so far has come into place, and many “distractions” have faded away from the big picture.  i don’t have much on my new years resolution list, but one thing i want to do this year is to do things 100 times better than the last.

this year marks major milestones in my life.  i have a professional career ahead of me, i have my good health, family, my faith in God, and all my friends.  hopefully the new year will be good to me, and in a couple of months I will reward myself with one of the things i’ve always wanted and talked about.  the other things are a bit more challenging, but i’m gonna do things one at a time.

just like my one of my daruma, i have yet to fill in its second eye. this year I WILL finally paint it. we will see.  so i wish everyone i happy new year.  let’s make 2010 the best year ever together!

ｍｅｒｒｙ　ｃｈｒｉｓｔｍａｓ　。。。

in case you didnt know, the majority of our clientele at the firm are japanese business men.  when they want to do business here in the US, they also bring along their financials for us to analyze. easy right? no.

all my financial data (transactions, accounts, descriptions, etc) except for the numbers itself are all in japanese!!!! ahhhh!!!!! the numbers are also in yen, so then i have to use the currency exchange rates. pain.

BUT ITS OKAY, i love my job and its perks. :)
